The PEI Physiotherapy Association is the voice for physiotherapists and physiotherapy assistants in Prince Edward Island.

The PEI branch:

  • Provides membership services to our members;
  • Advocates for physiotherapy with government and other stakeholders
  • Educates the public so they can understand the benefits of physiotherapy:
    • to maintain an active and healthy lifestyle;
    • to preventing or recover from disease or disability;
    • to maximize the quality of life for all ages and abilities.

The PEI Physiotherapy Association provides leadership and direction to members in our province and supports the mission of the CPA to foster excellence in practice, education and research and promote high standards of health in Canada.

Professional Development

The Physiotherapist position is located at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.

Job Summary:

The physiotherapist position is located in the Physical Medicine Department at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH). The position provides physiotherapy services to inpatients of the QEH with possible rotation among services (acute care, rehabilitation and out-patient); assumes administrative and supervisory responsibilities; promotes understanding of the hospital’s physiotherapy therapy services, and fulfills other related professional duties in the Physical Medicine Department.

Qualifications:

  • graduation from a recognized physiotherapy program,
  • eligible for registration with the PEI College of Physiotherapists,
  • 3 to 5 years experience working in a hospital setting,
  • experience performing supervisory duties,
  • demonstrated ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively in a team environment,
  • good previous work and attendance record.

Position: Physiotherapist

Range of Motion Physiotherapy has been open for 9 years and located in the heart of downtown Fredericton.  We are looking for a friendly, outgoing physiotherapist who can work 4 days a week.

Successful applicant will treat both sports and orthopedic injuries across all age groups.  We are looking for a hard working, independent and self-motivated physiotherapist to join our team of four physiotherapists.
